I'm not a huge fan of hating on music. I mean who am I to judge, considering I still live with the same twelve cats at my folks place in the burbs? Regardless, it's my humble opinion that this is not as spicy a tune as you would hope for from larger-than-life superstars.
I mean, I love The Weeknd's voice as much as the next dude, and no one can deny Daft Punk are the original living legends of electronic music, but this doesn't stop "Starboy" from feeling a bit bland.
Alas, I imagine this could be the hit of some peoples lives. Maybe they'll never recover from it. Perhaps some people peak and this is the quintessential moment in a body's musical journey.
Hate me if you must, this just isn't that cool. Sorry for posting -- that's kind of like asking your mate to smell something you don't like...
