In compliance with the relatively recent trend of foregoing any association of new music one has created with pre-existing labels, the masterminds behind this dance-ready remix call its genre "pantystep."

The duo of DJ Troublemaker and Tate La Rock take what was once a simple acoustic guitar-driven song by The Weeknd

, and turn it on its head completely. Now, with hi-hats and synths galore, the previously Aaliyah-sounding ballad is a dance-floor ready anthem.

The same people that would play the original composition off YouTube before bed on a Tuesday evening would probably be pleasantly surprised to hear this version on a weekend night in their favorite social establishment.
