Today marks the first day of summer for me in Cape Town (well, it feels that way at least, given that it's going to hit 27C). And while I pretend that the forecast for tomorrow isn't rain and gloom (which is it), this new track by The Vryll Society is setting a perfect uptempo indie rock vibe.
"Coshh" falls somewhere between alternative, shoegaze and psychedelic surf rock. It steers clear of any fancy tricks, opting instead for an easy-to-grasp cadence that will have a hard time turning listeners off.
Keep an eye out for their debut EP Pangea, due on October 26th via Deltasonic.
