Why do we like this?

Hooray, a new song from The Tallest Man On Earth!

"Sagres" sees the Swedish artist take an upbeat, folk-pop approach to music making (quite contrary to many of his heartfelt predecessors). The end result reminds me a bit of Mumford & Sons, and frankly I'm quite okay with that.

Sure, the overly-produced sound loses some of the original "raw" energy that powered his earlier releases -- but artists need to evolve a bit, and apparently that's what Kristian Matsson wants to do.

You can find "Sagres" on his new album Dark Bird Is Home, due for release on May 12th.
