The main synth comes across like Justin Bieber's hit record "Sorry." Whether you admit or not, that song is good.
I'm not the biggest fan of the guy, but his music surprises me more often than not whenever I find myself casually bopping to his sounds. That kind of natural dancing that your body tends to do when songs are simply good, regardless of the artist, is precisely what you will find in "Sabre" by The Swoons.
You will also find some great vocals that complement the bouncy production quite well. None of that drastically dramatic overly-produced bullshit too many producers are doing so much of these days. And none of that over-singing, off-key crap many up-and-coming singers tend to try. No. Just a simple seamlessly symbiotic of melodies, harmonies and thump; a pleasurable piece that sets the bar high with seemingly minimal effort.
Additionally, next to all the sonic components that occur to make this record so good, you are given excellent lyrics with deeper meaning that most EDM songs out there, today. Enjoy the subtle progression and wonder later why such a melancholically written tune made you want to dance so much.
