Why do we like this?
Song of the Day needs to be awesome. That's why when I can't find anything that has "bite," I'll go ahead and post something from way back when. In this case, way back when is actually more than a decade ago.

"Hard To Explain" was released on The Strokes' 2001 album Is This It, and actually holds the title for the band's first official single. Understandably, folks got quite excited when they heard it, setting the bar incredibly high for the band's debut release.

They destroyed it. The rest is all history.
