Surprise! One of our own writers triples as a DJ, music maker, and talented vocalist. When I first stalked her SoundCloud, I knew I'd secretly review her one day. Between The Soundmen's cross-genre production and Rai's depth of voice , "With You" captures the sultry sentiment of 80s electronic pop "” the teenage dream "” while including enough sizzlin' hip-hop to be very much reassuring of present desires. It's an inescapable anthem, without the added feeling that you'd ever want to escape.
