Fourth up in our exclusive mix series is Gage, a Bristol producer who is behind a number of exciting underground bass productions.
He sent us a mix which he describes as a "hybrid." It starts with classic funk house and works through dreamy synth states and into some hard 4x4 beats. This versatility is reflected in his own productions, with elements of several genres merged. This is what excites us most about Gage -- he isn't confined to a singular sound, and in the several different styles he covers, he covers them well.
