Why do we like this?

The immediately endearing "Sweetly" comes from the Show Ponies' new album, How It All Goes Down, which released January 20.

The song's touching lyrics come alive with lead vocalist Andi Carder's tender, warm voice. She's got the kind of sweet harmony that made Jenny Lewis so compelling, and Zooey Deschanel so cloying. It's a fittingly named song, lets put it that way.

There's something hauntingly beautiful about the Show Ponies' five-piece sound. With Valentine’s Day around the corner, queue this one up on your romantic soundtracks! And hold your love ones close. Trump is here.
