Why do we like this?

I'm not sure I need give this song an introduction, nor do I need to explain why I like it so much. But I'm going to do both anyway.

The track was released way back in 2001 on the album Oh, Inverted World. It's hard to believe that it was more than a decade ago. That said, many of you might find it "fresh" in your mind given that it was one of the lead singles on the 2004 movie Garden State.

Either way, it's old as shit. And that's why I like this so much. It isn't complex or innovative. It's just straight up enjoyable to listen to. And for that, it's timeless.
