Last year we debut "Red River," the stunning first single from Adelaide alt-country rockers The San Sebastian. This week the duo return with the equally impressive "Wildfire."
There's not much information concerning the track -- the band uploaded it to SoundCloud with little fanfare. This shouldn't sway you from what's on offer though, with The San Sebastian slowly carving out their own niche in the Austrian music scene.
A laid-back country influenced rocking chair groover, "Wildfire" is steeped in Americana with tinges of Neil Young and Tom Petty infiltrating the tracks sound. Dan Crannitch's breezy vocal style is the ideal accompaniment to the lush orchestral sounds being created by he and his brother.
With debut album Alive On The Black Sea produced by Phil Ek (Fleet Foxes, Father John Misty, The Shins) and set for release later this year, The San Sebastian are sure to be a familiar name by the year's end.
