I'm currently road-tripping. Perhaps one of the best parts about doing that is sharing music with your fellow travellers. Case and point: when my friend turned on "Frank, AB" by The Rural Alberta Advantage, I was instantly blown away by the raw emotion and phenomenal chorus.
Based out of Toronto, the band have been making rounds for a little while now. "Frank, AB" was the 8th track of their 2008 release Hometown, which was released by Saddlecreek Records (suddenly the emotion makes sense).
Either way, while it lacks the "pop" value of many of our SOTDs, I couldn't help but share.
