Why do we like this?

Back when I started doing the Song of the Day series, we would quote other blogs rather than writing our own reviews. That changed after ~6 months, but it means that there's a whole back-catalog of amazing music on Indie Shuffle that just doesn't have the original content it deserves

Case and point: "Right On," off The Roots' great album How I Got Over, which included contributions from the likes of Bright Eyes (Monsters of Folk), John Legend and Blu. This song, featuring Joanna Newsom's "The Book Of Right On" (2004), was absolutely the stand out for me, and so I'm bringing back into the limelight because...I can!
