Why do we like this?
The Radio Dept. are back with their first single in 4 years, and boy is it um...a weird one to re-enter the game with.
According to the press release, the slogan "Death to fascism, freedom to the people!" (Smrt fašizmu, sloboda narodu!) was made popular by Yugoslavian partisan freedom fighter Stjepan Filipović.
Clearly this is no coincidence. The band hail from Sweden, where elections are just around the corner, though I'd be lying if I said I was fully clued in on the happenings there.
No word on a new release, so perhaps this is more of a political statement made as a one-off?
