Why do we like this?

Melbourne electronic duo Kult Kyss only released debut single "Get Up Boy" (which I covered on the site) two months ago, but their hybridised art-music sound has remained stuck in my head ever since.

The pair are now back back, with a cover of "This Boy’s In Love" from Australian duo The Presets. Paying homage to an iconic act that continues to inspire them, Kult Kyss members Haxx and Rromarin have reworked "This Boy’s In Love" into a commanding fusion of primal and progressive sounds, while still maintaining the element of dark electro pop I was first mesmerized by.

This is well worth your time!
