Why do we like this?

One clearly can't expect a cover of The Police's "Roxanne" to outdo the original. But, when you put reservations aside you'll quickly find that this cover by Australian quartet Strange Talk is definitely worth the listen.

After enjoying a good bit of attention from their single "Eskimo Boy" back in late 2010, the band are gearing up to release a new full-length album. As can be heard on this track (and confirmed via Soundcloud), they've acquired a number of new synths, so we're preparing for an onslaught of great synthpop in the near future.

Until then, enjoy this rendition of a classic.
