Although we're only a few weeks into the new year, we've already had some sublime cover tracks, including Nadia Ali's dark take on The Police's "Roxanne."
For those unaware, New Yorker Nadia is well known in the electronic community and has been making hits for well over a decade, including collaborations with Armin Van Buuren, Avicii, and Morgan Page.
This cover of "Roxanne" is quite different to the beat-heavy production she is known for, stripping back the song to the basics. Over guitar and a haunting bass line, Nadia's lush vocals take centre stage, making this a worthy cover of a classic tune.
