Why do we like this?
Temple Songs have officially changed their name to The Pink Teens. Jolan Lewis, the band's frontman, still brings the songwriting and lead guitar to the table. Although they're ever-evolving, the band has made a seamless shift.
Today, we're bringing you a track premiere of their first single under their new name, "Shanghaied." This noise pop track features powerful guitar riffs and quick-paced drumming. It's part of a long EP, titled Good Luck, Pink Teens. (I say "long" because it's got nine tracks!).
They'll also be releasing it on 12" vinyl via Rip Records on November 24, 2014. Grab a pre-order here if you're digging this track and be sure to hit up The Pink Teens on Facebook for more information.
