Why do we like this?

If Matthew Dear decided to make synth pop, this is what it would sound like.  

On this remix by IS Tropical, the Parisian native, London-based electro pop band get a dark synth treatment to complement Axel Basquiat's soulful crooning. The duo, which includes Vincent T, just finished a competition offering a VIP trip to Cannes, and I'm left wondering why I wasn't invited,

At least I have this song to console me. Gothic piano stabs and wonky special effects turn this track "Time to Shine" into a slinking summer house anthem. It's fun and serious simultaneously.

This track is part of a remix package that includes interpretations by Moullinex, Night Drive, and Ronika so make sure to check them out and find which flavor suits you.
