Why do we like this?

The Parrots released their new single "Cigarrette Burns" in late January, functioning as a fresh and up beat come back to 2016's Los Niños Sin Miedo. 

The Elvis Costello-esque guitar riff propels the track forward in a winding and vibrant manner. Eventually, giving way to an energetic feel good chorus, the verse has an infectious energy that just seems to skip along. The addictive bass line complements the guitar work, adding a unique offset groove to the track, enhancing the upbeat vibes.

This simple three minute piece of bouncy indie rock is perfect for the much anticipated arrival of summer sunshine and, fingers crossed, a new album from The Parrots.
