Why do we like this?

I've stumbled across quite a few gems since starting my new service SubmitHub, and The Palms stand out as one of the better discoveries.

Based out of Los Angeles, the duo of Johnny Zambetti and Ben Rothbard have a sound not unlike Portugal. The Man. That said, they manage to make it all their own, with a casual-but-compelling indie rock song that jumped out at me from the moment I hit play.
