Liverpool quartet The Night Café is back with their best release yet, the guitar centric "Mixed Signals."
While their earlier singles, "Together" and "Time," both have a joyful indie pop sound, "Mixed Signals" opens with a guitar riff right out of The Gaslight Anthem playbook.
Before things get too far into Springsteen territory, Sean Martin's soothing vocals kick in and turns "Mixed Signals" into a melodic indie jam of energetic hooks and lyrics about heartbreak and loss.
The teens are heading out on their first UK tour in December. You can find more details here.
