Why do we like this?
Right out the gate, The Nice Nice's "Hi Talk" sounds like an Empire of the Sun song. But as soon as the singing and whatnot kick in, it becomes quite clear there's something more going on here.
The song comes as the third single off an upcoming EP by an Aussie band in Munich (or at least... there's some connection to Australia...). It's got a pretty safe melody, but a lovey one at that; a crisp indie rock/pop song that's bound to get them a good number of spins the world around.
