Woo! A new song from The National! Well, actually it came out in April. The weirder part is that it came out in conjunction with the release of Portal 2. That's right: The National sold our so hard that they're now in a Microsoft video game.
But that doesn't matter much to me. This song is beautiful in a way that only The National can accomplish. Perhaps it's an indication of how sad the video game is -- not quite sure. But as a standalone track, it's quite enjoyable and will likely make its way into my rainy-day playlists.
