A new National song makes getting up early that much better. Lauren Laverne debuted the new The National single a few hours ago on BBC radio and a webrip is already out. I was surprised that Terrible Love wasn't used as the single after their performance on Fallon. Bloodbuzz Ohio has been played plenty of times live, with most fans being familiar with it.
The song has layers of smart instrumentation creating a dramatic chorus that The National have become so good at crafting over the years. It is a solid song but I am not sure how it compares to a single such as Fake Empire just yet"¦Knowing The National I am expecting it to reveal itself even further with more listens today - We All Want Someone
