In the vein of fellow troubadors James Vincent McMorrow and Elliott Smith, Brisbane's The Mercy Project (19-year-old Andrew Markwell) makes music that will stop you in your tracks and engulf you in its wave of delicate, tranquil beauty.

"I'll Be Your Medicine" is The Mercy Project's debut offering, with gentle guitar playing and distant harmonies that allow Markwell's fragile falsetto to really shine.
