The Lips is a band that is quite easy to fall in love with. They have big, infectious personalities and smiles, which shine through in their music, and most importantly, in their live shows. I initially them busking on the streets of Berlin when I first moved here, and have been a fan ever since.
They have just dropped "an Aperol drenched film clip made in southern Italy" according to their Facebook page, for the gorgeous, bluesy tune "Trouble In Paradise."
The energetic 4-piece hail from Sydney, Melbourne, Berlin and Luxembourg respectively. Their debut album release show was to sold out crowds in the infamous Berlin club “Keller,” as the band rapidly gain momentum in the Berlin underground with their hard hitting and frenzy inducing sounds of old school blues, and some tongue-in-cheek lyrics with a few smooches of soul.
