The Lemon Twigs, fronted by brothers Brian and Michael D’Addario, that broke onto the scene last year with their inordinately sophisticated debut album Do Hollywood, are back with a new EP, Brothers of Destruction. The EP is comprised of songs that didn’t make it onto their debut mentioned above. Pairing big drum fills with keyboards and organs, this song is reminiscent of The Doors and allows you to indulge in just the right amount of nostalgia.
The songs arrangement is impeccable, and the vibe, which one can only describe as sunshiney and radiant, is accented by '70s-pop era sweet horns.
I first witnessed this band last summer, and immediately felt like I had been teleported to the 1960s. If you are in the mood for time travel, I suggest putting on your headphones and letting this song take you on an adventure back 50 years.
