Sweden’s The Legends have returned with a brand new album full of synth-drenched love songs titled It’s Love. The fifth album in their discography has seen The Legends mature as the songs meld together effortlessly, but allows each song to have its own distinct sound from each other -- whether it’s the heartwarming downtempo of “Something Left To Die For” or tropical sounds of “The Great Unknown.”
With that, The Legends have expanded their album and will be released with extra tracks. And at Indie Shuffle, we’re proud to premiere one of the new tracks titled “Up and Away.”
Following suit of the other tracks on the album, it’s a whispery, dreamy affair. Featuring the vocals of Sara Carlsson (who also happens to be the album’s main topic), the song is a beautiful journey into a brooding heart. Johan Angergård (owner of Labrador Records and member of influential Swedish indie pop group Acid House Kings) works with Carlsson to deliver another soothing Swedish pop single.
The Legends’ expanded release of It’s Love will see light of day on October 16, 2015 via Labrador Records.
