The project of Brisbane musician Danny Harley, fans around the globe have been entranced by his ambient, emotionally driven pop music and are eagerly awaiting his follow-up single. That wait is now over; the EP's second single "Arcadia"dropped earlier.
Following in the vein of his breakout debut, "Arcadia" is a gorgeous contradiction, possessing a delicate while still irresistibly powerful undertone. Dripping with introspection, Harley's vocals once again steal the show in that jaw-dropping way that artists like Active Child and How to Dress Well know how to do. What makes the music of The Kite String Tangle so impressive is the fact that it's all him, with Harley operating as the triple-threat of producer, vocalist, and songwriter.
