Why do we like this?
From my experience, The Killers are a pretty polarizing group. Chances are you're going to love them or you're going to hate them. Generally, I fall into the latter camp, but I figured this is a pretty major single being unleashed on the internet. So, why not feature it as today's Song of the Day?
"Runaways" is off The Killers' upcoming album Battle Born (due September 18th), their first in four years (last one was Day & Age). As expected, the song is pretty powerful -- full of rock, if you will. That's not a bad thing, though you won't see me bumping this jam at a party.
