Why do we like this?
A massive perk of being a part of the Indie Shuffle network is the occasional emails I receive introducing me to new and emerging artists that I might be interested in. A message that recently landed in my inbox introduced me to a new group, The Hawk in Paris.
These guys are a Nashville-based electronic/synth pop group that met in college and reunited 10 years later to explore sounds outside the realm of their day jobs. They're set to release their first full-length album next week on October 29, and this first single from their album "Freaks" was premiered in the finale of ABC's Pretty Little Liars last season.
I was captivated upon first listen and found myself tapping along to their catchy rhythm and turning the stereo up louder. Since then, I've been listening to "Freaks" on a regular basis and look forward to following the success of the band once the album launches.

The Hawk in Paris are running a pledge music campaign for the production cost of Freaks. If you like their sound and would like to help them out, you can do so via this link.
