Why do we like this?

The Growlers are back with their third release of 2019 following tracks "Natural Affair" and "Foghorn Town." Of the three tracks, "Try Hard Fool" stood out the most to me.

Having just recently gone through a rough bout, here is my analysis of the track:

Me: sad :(

Brooks Nielsen (lead singer): "You gotta laugh every once in a while."

Me: happy :)

This California group has always possessed the talent of sticking to their garage rock background while incorporating elements like '60s psych, punk, and even disco. I will be one of their fans for LIFE, man. I'm seeing them in Seattle soon and I'm stoked.

If you're in Seattle on the weekend of October 5th, I hope to see you at their show :)
