Wow, I've never had this little access to internet before. I guess that means I'm on holiday? Maybe when I get back to civilization I'll upload pics of the hike I went on today, but for now I must get this song up on the blog.
Having found myself in a region with such scarce bandwidth, yet longing to add my flavor to the Indie Shuffle home feed, I needed to post a song that I trusted enough to not actually be listening to it while I was writing the review.
That's right. I'm actually currently listening to Sophie Ellis-Bextor's "Murder On The Dancefloor" because it's downloaded on my phone.
The Great Yawn, I'm proud to say, are from South Africa. It's the first I've heard from them, but I'm positive it won't be the last. "California" has me spinning a bit, because I actually went to live in LA once and the experience was equal parts transformational as it was unattractive.
Be a good thing though and show this band some love where possible!
