To many, Beth Ditto, the eye-catching badass and frontwoman of The Gossip, is an icon in terms of positive reinforcement and girl power. Her second single, "Move in the Right Direction," from the underrated fifth studio album A Joyful Noise, captured the hearts of many with its uplifting message to staying optimistic and not letting the haters get you down.
Today in spirit of that shining optimism, L.A. remix duo Classixx offers up a dance floor-ready rework that will turn that mid-day work frown upside-down. Taking a leave from the choruslines of the original, this version pumps up the jam while toning down what makes this song so recognizable. If the chill beats don't soothe your spirits, the upbeat percussions will.
According to Classixx, they actually completed this mix a few months back, but just recently decided to upload it to their SoundCloud for free download.
