Not to be demanding, but I haven't found anything inspiring in 2017.
Flat vocal performances with awful production mixes, overproduced EDM noise with terribly loud highs that eradicate any of the lows, and chord progressions that seem as simple as using autotune to justify a lack of any real training and call yourself a singer.
I'm still sitting with music from 2016 for daily inspiration. I'm talking Post Malone, The Weeknd, and Izzy Bizu, mostly. Those three albums get set to shuffle and I work non-stop from five in the morning until eleven at night.
Until this morning, that is.
This morning I turned to my mailbox and hit play, for the seventeenth day this year, and finally found something that moved me. That would be this: The Fuze's cover of The Psychedelic Furs.

It’s a fashion with a gun my love
I normally dislike cover songs very much, but this one is good. It keeps all of the original feel and bumps up the sound just a bit to make it more relatable to younger ears.
With elements of psychedelic and dreamscape sounds moving seamlessly around the drums and vocals, this one is easy to get sucked into and set to replay.
Good feels, good vibes and good music all around.
Enjoy.
