There are changes in me happening that are noticeable, yet don't feel obvious. Like trying to tell when the car got so damn hot, these are changes can only be identified at tipping points. Musically it feels like time to crack the window. A lot of my usual comfort sounds are feeling more and more out of touch.
Something that has not changed in the slightest is my love for high intensity disco tracks. The most recent tide which has crashed on the shore of Boogie Island is The Funk District's latest Disconstructed EP.
"The Horn" is one of four tracks on that release, all four of which give me the tippy taps. Perhaps dance music is a different vehicle altogether, and my tastes for the genre will happily fly over the sweaty ass other me stuck in traffic. Who knows.
