Some of you may know The Friendly Giant as a TV show that featured a giant living in a huge castle with his animal friends, Rusty the rooster and Jerome the giraffe. If you do, that's because the TV show is considered a valuable part of Canadian pop culture.
Perhaps, then, it makes sense that The Friendly Giant mashes up pop. Here on Pop Shuffle, we're all for that. Er, wait...something's wrong with that statement.
Okay, I'll admit that the three artists featured in today's Song of the Day aren't exactly indie. Neither are the artists in today's Bonus tracks. But that shouldn't matter. Sometimes its just a little fun to hear a new twist on something you've already heard.
