Taking cues from the likes of Talking Heads and David Bowie, The Fluids' second single is another hazy throwback to good old fashioned 80s rock. Frontman Mike Tony has a voice that's a dead ringer for David Byrne without falling into parody territory, with "Sign N' Drive" a bombastic guitar laced rock number. Taking with Noisey Tony had this to say about the track:
"This is one of our older songs, and it really came together once Cooper was onboard and came up with the lead guitar that pretty much drives the whole thing. Puppy's bassline gets people dancing. I wanted to keep things pretty sparse so I could let Cooper's guitar do a lot of the talking. I do enjoy the baseball references though. We should cover 'Center Field' by [John] Fogerty."
