Why do we like this?

The Dodos made their mark on me more than 10 years ago, and so you can just imagine how excited I was to see a brand new song pop up from the duo.

"Mirror Fake" keeps things familiar, capitalizing onthe band's distinguished sound: simple melodies, stark guitar, and tribal rhythm.

Alas, no signs of an album on the horizon. Instead, you'll find this oneincluded in a compilation calledPhilia: Artists Rise Against Islamophobia, out next week via Floating House Records.
