Released in March of this year, "Flesh It Out" is the latest single from indie electro-pop Nashville group, The Daybreaks. Diverting from their more aggressive, guitar heavy, first record, their single opens with an electro siren-like call to rush to the dance floor while their layered harmonic vocals singing catchy lyrics invite the listener to sing along.
The music video likewise resembles an intimate rave with close-ups of the band members covered in multicolored paint glowing beneath UV lights. Simply lip syncing and waving their painted hands in front of the camera, the video's visuals compliment the composition instead of distracting the listener.
According to their website, the band formed as a happy accident. Intending to have just collaborated for a few demos, they could hear their chemistry through the music and fell in love with their sound. Since that moment, they have released a full record and even performed a concert on an airplane!
