Why do we like this?
The Darcys' newest single, "Muzzle Blast," is a post-punk smorgasbord of lush effects.
The song comes in with soft, ethereal tones, which are soon accompanied by some impressive yet dizzying drums. The keys lend a lighter touch to what could otherwise be a much darker track. The hypnotizing vocals help soften it, too. With its combination of dark bass tones melded with the haunting melodies, "Muzzle Blast" has quite a strong structure.
