Why do we like this?
The Brinks is the result of putting a New York City producer together with an Australian singer -- and the results are perfect.
The great thing about this track, taken from their debut EP (due for release on December 4th), is that it blurs the lines between American East Coast influence and Aussie tropical indie. Together, they've implored one of the best tricks in the current scene: incorporating a lofi, crackly guitar loop into the mix -- it instantly grabs my ears.
"Is this Temporary Love?"; well, on initial listen I'm waiting for the full EP, so decidedly not!
