From a Small Town Into a Segmented City

The Bright Light Social Hour goes above and beyond, flying above a city of indie synth and landing with panache in my heart.

"Prefecture" is a slice of delight and joy, layered with blocked-up synth city civilians all taking in the vast city through headphones eternally plugged into their ears — and the soundtrack is "Prefecture" — a power trip of synth rock, alt-pop, and indietronica lyricism. Just when you think it will end, like the vast segments of a city, it just keeps going - infinitely.

The Bright Light Social Hour has delivered joy and distress all in one immaculate bottle.
