Why do we like this?
"Hard And Gone" brings together The Black Keys with Ace Hood. The simplicity of the former's sound easily lends itself to a hip-hop backing, but what has me particularly impressed is how well Ace Hood's raw flow overlaps the blues rock track.
The Hood Internet tend to smoosh together a number of high-profile songs when approaching mashups. For example, they just tried to combine Sysqo's "Thong Song" with The Rapture's "How Deep Is Your Love" (result here) -- a little unsuccessfully in my mind, though that's likely due to my aversion toward anything to do with Sysqo. On this one, however, I think they did something right.
