The Black Angels have finally returned. With three weeks to go until their new album Death Song, they have released a second new single, "I'd Kill For Her."
Fuzzed-out, bluesy psych rock has been a well-overdone genre for what seems like decades, but Black Angels have always had something which separates them from the crowd. The new tracks are more frantic, fuzzy and heavy than a lot of their earlier work, a welcome continuation of the sound that fans have come to know and love.
The Black Angels will release their fifth album Death Song on April 21 via [PIAS]/Inertia. It marks their first full album since 2013's Indigo Meadow, and a special edition will be released a day later - Record Store Day - on glow in the dark vinyl with "blacklight-reactive" ink.
