Why do we like this?

Canada keeps on delivering, with The Beverleys the latest in a long line of Toronto acts to make a splash. The all-female trio follow up the energetic "Visions" with the equally compelling "Spaced."

Taken from their soon-to-be-released debut, Brutal, "Spaced" is full of fuzzy melodies, distorted instrumentation and 90s nostalgia, with Susan Burke's visceral vocals evoking memories of Seattle's classic grunge sound.
