Why do we like this?

I'd be willing to bet your best night out at the club had a touch of soul music in it. There's rarely a style that can touch the good-time vibes of Motown and soul. 

In the spirit of every great playlist and every good night out, I'm adding The Bamboos to the Shuffle. This Australian collective has been at it for the last 15 years and they're one of the strongest forces in global soul music.

"Step It Up," featuring vocalist Alice Russell, was selected by Tru Thoughts as one of the best moments on the label. You can pre-order the whole best of through Bandcamp.
