Pack The Van, We're Going Surfing

I was never a beach youth, never in my life did I ever grow up with the sea, the vibe, the culture, and the noise, but this song makes me miss it so much!

One could say this song is groovy, almost funky, but one can also say this song is a little bit rocky and that is such a niche and satisfying space. I've always loved how musicians of a coastal heritage could create songs that not only call for dancing, but also call for driving, surfing, and just general satisfactory chaos.

"Ready For Tomorrow" is a beach rock song incarnate, soft rock instrumentation layered with funk noise, recognizable beats, and a time-traveling feeling. I'm back in the '70s and I'm living out a surf van.
