Why do we like this?

It's been roughly 20 minutes since I arrived back in Cape Town. My journey from Jo'burg took 25 hours, but that was perfectly fine -- I was on "the Blue Train," a first-class experience that included 5-course dinner and 4-course lunch.

Naturally, the first thing I decided to do upon arriving in Cape Town was to head to work and hang out with my favorite people at the 2050 Coworking Space.

Clearly a hip bunch, I posed the question: what should today's Song of the Day be? And that's when someone piped up with this suggestion: "Basic Instinct" by The Acid.

It's a blend of folk-pop and daytime disco, a vibe I struggle to deny. Hopefully you'll find this track setting yourself as well-aligned as I am.
